Cnidophobia is the fear of stings. I would say I have the fear of being stung... emotionally.
What I learned while making this piece was that sometimes the thing we are afraid of hurting us the most, isn't the thing in plain sight and is already in our midst. Surrounding us.
This image does evoke a fear of being stung by the bees. But I'm telling you, that cactus, can wound you.
