I view the works as meditations on time. The creative process delves into mark making, patterning, gesture, flow consciousness, and distillation to essentials. Artmaking, to me, mirrors life and imparts wisdom. The interplay of place, process, materials, and form in a meditative state is crucial. Abstract, timeless forms, imperfect yet evolving, intrigue me. Inspiration is drawn from wabi sabi philosophy, architecture, primitive forms, metaphysics, and yoga. I am mindful of the Earth’s state, the feminine essence, and the evolving consciousness revolution.
