Cristina Ayala

Cristina, a Dallas-based fiber artist, seamlessly blends her design background with a love for textiles, drawing from her Mexican heritage to create vibrant pieces that weave traditional techniques with contemporary design. As a member of The Cedars Union’s Cohort 4, she nurtures her skills and artistic vision while forming connections in the local art scene. Inspired by emotions of change, her work reflects a cultural connection and explores themes of nostalgia, memory, and growth, capturing the essence of Mexican culture in each intricate creation.
